Kitten AgreementBardsong Oriental Cats New Owner Information Our kittens are born in our bedroom and that is where they spend the first 3 weeks of their lives. After that they move into the kitten pen in the lounge, where they become used to the usual household noises and the other cats. They are handled daily and played with, which makes them extremely sociable and fairly bombproof. They are vaccinated against Feline Enteritis, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Feline Calici Virus at 9 weeks of age and again at 12 weeks of age. We then keep them for a further week to make sure that they are free from any health problems before they leave us. By the time they are ready to go to their new homes they will have been wormed, vet checked (at least twice), treated with Frontline and fully vaccinated. We do not allow kitten visiting until the babies are at least 4 weeks old and we do not accept firm bookings or deposits until they are at least 6 weeks old. They do not leave us until they are at least 13 weeks old.Our kittens are registered with either the GCCF, FIFE or TICA and come with their registration papers, a copy of their pedigree and their vaccination certificate. They also come with 4 weeks free pet insurance and a goody bag.All kittens are sold as pets only, unless otherwise agreed. This means that they must be neutered at about 6 months of age. Prospective kitten owners will be expected to pay a non- refundable deposit of £50.00 on booking a kitten. The balance of the cost being payable in cash, on collection of the kitten. If, for any reason, owners of Bardsong kittens are unable to keep them we would like to be informed and will assist, wherever possible, in finding a suitable home.
